My Drawing of a Moon Hare

It has been a month since I've posted a drawing here. But today it felt like a perfect day to try to draw  a moon hare (I had found a picture to draw from). After this morning I had to take care of myself a little bit extra. First I went out for some cycling; the weather is beautiful here. It smells like spring. Then I took my sketchbook and drew this moon hare. I am feeling a lot better now. J

  1. Oh this is lovely! Enjoy your spring weather - we are in the middle of a deep freeze (which we normally don't get in our part of the States). I'm in hibernation mode! :D

    1. The weather is nice, but to be honest, I long for some snow. (not too much)
      Love to hibernate :D

  5. Ellen, I love this! As you know, the Rabbit (Hare) is my animal guide for 2014. Your drawing is exquisite!

    1. Thank you so much Zanna. I've been reading up about the spiritual meaning about hare and I don't think it is strange I am so attracted to this animal So I guess I could call it my guide too:)
Never had any experience with this principle

    2. Well, I think probably every animal could teach us something about life! But I find it interesting to draw a card from an animal-theme deck of one kind or another just to see what the Universe might want me to see. :)

    3. You are so right. I am thinking of buying the Animal Druid Oracle for that purpose

  6. Wonderful drawing, as usual :) SIGH. I need to get some new drawing pencils. I spent many years painting, but now I just want paper and pencils, that's it. Isn't that where it all starts anyway? I love when you post your artwork.

    1. Thank you Olivia. Pen and paper are so easy to pick up; no preparation, no mess afterwards and just playing with form and gray nuances :D
I hope you will post some of your art too when you will comfortable about it
