Finding some spiritual peace

Today's card is Crown Chakra from the Conscious Spirit Oracle by Kim Dreyer.
The crown chakra is our link to Source energy, to the Divine, to our higher self and even to the celestial hand in the Ace of Cups from yesterday’s post .
When this chakra is fully opened and all its thousand petals are unfolded we can experience pure love and spiritual peace. We finally come to the understanding that One is all and all is One. We can experience the Divine for what it truly is and receive guidance when we need it. Some say we can even reach enlightenment.
As you all know by now, from time to time I have those periods when I doubt about divinity ,how to connect to the divine and a lot of other spiritual questions. Well  lately the same old questions has been on my mind again: Am I on the right path? Who says I am not totally lost without knowing it? Who is God(dess), What does the God of my child hood thinks of my defection?
One moment I find myself praying to a loving deity and the other moment I think I am completely nuts. But this morning just before I drew this card I was singing in the car to God(dess) and suddenly it struck me God(dess) is everything and everywhere and always. It is not about “instead of” but more about “in addition to”. To me God(dess) is every divine energy from every culture or time. So if I want to see God(dess) as a Germanic Deity and the next day as my childhood father in heaven it doesn’t matter, because they all originate from the same Source energy.

Of course this isn't really anything new but for me today it felt like I was the woman in this card, feeling like I had some kind of earth shocking revelation while driving home with all my groceries. Sometimes you just have to review old ideas again to really grasp their meaning

New moon in July - Release

A little bit late, but this is my card for the new and waxing moon of this lunation. This is my Embrace card and it is a bit funny because the card is called “Release”. So I have to embrace a releasing energy which is very apt for me now. This weekend I've had to deal with some family problems which are beyond my power to change and so I've decided to try to let go. And then I drew this card from the Conscious Spirit Oracle by Kim Dreyer:

“I release that which does not serve me with gratitude and love”

Of course I was pleasantly surprised by this synchronicity but I also noticed the last two words: “with gratitude and love”. Releasing, letting go is one of the hardest things for me to master, because it means also to let go of control, to accept how things are. Mostly my releasing is combined with resentment, failure, anger and sadness. It leaves me with scars and holes, which then have to be healed over the years. How different would it be if I would try to release with gratitude and love. Softly, silently saying my farewells  and sending light and love with them. It couldn't be better depicted then this: an angel, light as a cloud,  moving on and leaving light behind…..

Embrace Change

Today’s card is from the Conscious Spirit Oracle by Kim Dreyer and is called: Embrace Change. At the bottom of this card we read the following affirmation:

“I move easily and confidently through the changes of my life”

In the depiction we see a woman with arms open wide before a gateway towards the light. She is still standing in the moonlit night and the stairs will lead her into the sunlight. Two trees make an archway before the portal.

Change is often difficult and scary and the instigator of lots of anxiety but change is also a natural occurrence in life: All things change. When we seek out the positive aspect of change we may learn to embrace it instead of fighting it. Change will lead us to growth one way or another. I've been trough many changes in my life. Some were absolutely fantastic and some were intensely sad and many were good and or necessary. But every change in my life has brought me growth and  has contributed to the woman I am today.

Resisting those changes will only bring more stress and fear. Since it is inevitable we might as well go with the flow and make the best of it. We might even enjoy the process that much, we will want to look for change ourselves!
