Intuition – All will be well

Today’s word to draw a card with is “Message” and I wondered if my Inner Wise Woman would have a message for me. I shuffled my Dreams of Gaia Tarot and before I pulled  a card, I noticed my hag stone sitting on the window sill. I picked it up and drew my card: Intuition.
Dreams of Gaia Tarot Intuition
If I had it in me to pay more attention to that inner voice, My Inner Wise Lady would have had genuine conversations with me  instead of sending me a (post)card once in a while. But since I am A Queen of Swords at heart, my mind has always been my go-to tool to tackle any situation. Considering every possible option before I make a move, gives me a (false) sense of control. I have to admit, I do slightly envy the “Intuitives” among us; the ones that “feel”  and  “know”  always the right thing to do and never give it another thought.  Maybe I could seek out a balance between those two ways of dealing with big issues and day to day challenges.
The hag stone I picked up reminds me of the physical world with a magical doorway to another realm: the intricate web behind more corporeal layers of life. It is there where threads are pulled and where miracles are born.  When we are open to this other world, we realize that everything is connected and we become aware of the fact that by pulling one thread, thousands of other will begin to vibrate as well.  But when we decide to pull that one thread, we also trust that everything will work out for the best and that all will be well  in the end.
So how do I recognize this inner voice? I suppose she is friendly and soft spoken. Not afraid to tell me to truth but always in a gentle way. She is non judgmental and she never spreads fear. Instead, she is caring,  loving and compassionate towards me as well as towards others. When I write this down, I wish I had realized all of this sooner. We could have been best friends forever.

  1. <3 I agree with you - ultimately intuition and intellect can create a balanced system of guidance for us. I think they can work in harmony very well, when all is said and done. And I think that the more we hold that intention in our hearts over time, the more we start to listen to and engage our intuition, sometimes without even really realizing it. Hugs!

    1. I agree, the more we practice to heed our intuition the easier it will become. This month's IG challenges #embracethemagical and #shadowworkoctober have been so far a very profound experience for me. They has reintroduced me to a part of me which I thought was in the past and long forgotten. But some things never die: they transform and surface again.

  2. I think my intellect and intuition are two sides of the same coin. But my intuition gives me a quick nudge to action while my intellect likes to sit around and analyze stuff. Beautiful photo!

    1. Thanks Bev Yes, Intuition is often but a quick wordless notion. Maybe that's why it is hard for me to catch it. More like a dream.. when you want to write it down it already fading. Thinking is more linear and easier to follow :)

  4. Better later than never to become friends with oneself. Toss the regrets into the fire.

    2. What is a hagstone and the significance of the artifact? A lucky talisman perhaps.

    3. A Hag Stone is simply a stone with a natural hole through it. in folk lore it is often believed they ward of evil. They are also used as windows or doorways to see 'otherworlds' or to see through glamour

  5. Perhaps your Q of S leads but your Q of P is equally strong. I always have the sense of a well-loved, well-tended home when I visit here, a welcoming place, a wise-womyn place, with chocolate always on offer :)

    1. Aw, thank so much you my dear Rose for your kind and generous compliment. I always consider myself as a mix between those two queens. The other two are more challenging for me to identify with :)

  6. Love the picture and the card. You can still be best friends. :) But I understand the complexity. On one side you have this beautiful, peaceful voice attempting to guide you, but then ego jumps in and brings fear, doubt, and logic to the situation. Good luck connecting with your guides, and allowing them to be heard.

  7. Better late than never, is an expression we have :) And I think you have been trying to connect with her for quite a while. She doesn't just send you a (post)card, you actively go looking for them. That speaks for a way to connect, and the desire already being there - perhaps you can honour that, too!

    1. Thanks Chloe! It is liek Rumi says: “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.”
