My Spring altar

I thought it would be nice to post a picture of my Spring altar. Notice the little broom as a symbol for cleansing my sacred space. Yesterday I've lighted my candles, touched my element representations and performed a little ritual which felt really good en familiar to do. Hopefully this wil bring about a fresh breeze through spiritual practice.

  1. How beautiful! I was just thinking of redoing my altar today and dedicating it to Artemis. :)

  2. A beautiful arrangement. I usually don't change my altar setup, having the Green Tara as my center figure. But when I see your altar I really think about changing mine as well on a regular basis. BTW, where are the cards on the left side from (any specific deck)? Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thank you Radulf. I like to change my altar because I like to represent the changing seasons but even more because otherwise it becomes "dusty" in very many ways. It feels revitalized if I've changed something :D
Decks: Goddess Inspiration Oracle and Druid Plant Oracle

    2. I also enjoy changing my altar. It does need to be cleaned regularly. That is part of my devotion. I usually change it at new and full moon, and will also change for sabbats or any special occasion, and always for ritual or special occasions.

    3. I call it "altar altering" It is such a soothing thing to do. Perhaps I could think of something to symbolize the moon phases which then I could change during the month.

  3. Wow, that is beautiful, and it gives me a feeling of fresh, new starts! What is the lovely framed picture to the right of the candle? Honestly, your altar makes me sigh contentedly just looking at it. :)

    1. Thank you my dear sycamore. It works for me exactly the same way. Just standing before it makes me feel peaceful. I've found the picture on the internet and printed it (oeps) The artist is Wendy Andrew. If you like I can mail you the link

    2. Just found her wonderful website! Good grief, this woman needs to do an oracle deck. :) Her "Luna Moon Hare" book looks lovely.

  4. Your altar looks beautiful, simple yet colourful. The daffodils look amazing, and the little bunny made me smile :) I'm missing my altar, which is still packed away in boxes...

    1. Things will be normal sooner than you think. As I was writing earlier sacred space doesn't have to be set up in the physical world. Just imagine it as you would like it to be :)

  7. I can tell how much love you put into your altar. Beautiful and thorough! I am starting to feel that out houses are like altars in a kind of broader way. We adorn our space and set an intention.

    Hugs,
