Today´s
card is “Inner Trust” from the Sacred Rebels Oracle. We see a woman,
cloaked in white, against a dark background. All we really see is her face, her
eyes are pulling us in, her soft lips are about to whisper. It looks like she
is waiting for us for us to engage with her, to acknowledge her existence.
She
is the representation of our higher self, our inner voice, the vessel of our
hidden wisdom. As long as we are telling ourselves we can rationalize us out of
any problem which comes along, we do not get to know her and we leave her
waiting deep down inside us. But when we dare to trust this voice we can be
surprised at how strong and courageous this part of us is. Then it is time for
her to shed her cloak, and step into the light and show us her true strength.
Each time we listen to her she will grow stronger, more confident, more clear,
more outspoken.
So slow
down and take it one step at the time. Whenever you feel hurried and
stressed, you can almost always be sure you aren't listening to your intuition,
In fact you are dismissing her, denying her and taking away her strength.
So for today my intention is to slow down and to
is to listen to my heart, to follow my gut instinct and to really find out what
it is I want, I feel, I know…..
Ah! You put the card in the garden again - how lovely! The dried flowers/leaves around it make me think of how our external world is so full of change, yet how we yearn for stability and security. Which leads back to that still, inner voice... :)
ReplyDeleteha ha I had to wait until the wind had dropped. This shrub is starting to make new leaves already and will certainly bloom abundantly in the Summer just as our inner voice will when we start to listen to it more carfully
DeleteThanks you Ellen for your much needed affirmation. <3 This is a beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteThank you Catherine
DeleteI love how creatively you've been choosing these garden backdrops - they definitely add something to the card! You're so right about needing to slow down to listen to that inner voice :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Chloe, I rather enjoy making these pictures.
DeleteAs I've read in you other comment slowing down doesn't come easy with a L.O.. I do hope you can find snippets of time here and there for yourself to pause and listen:)
Yesterday, I listened to the voice that said "Sleep!", and did just that rather than working or meditating or reading :)
DeleteSleep can be such a blissful embrace of nothingness. :)
