A few days
ago I came across the What Matters Within spread on IG by @violetauraphoto
Originally this
is a tarot spread but like most spreads, the type of cards you want to use is entirely
up to you. After having taken a very long break from my Lenormand cards I
decided to use my all-time favorite Lenormand deck: the Celtic Lenormand by
Chloe McCracken and Will Worthington. For each position I picked two cards instead
of one because Lenormand is generally read in pairs.
The positions are the following:
1 What’s behind me (taken from the bottom of the deck) man + woman.
Ouch, where
is this going? This represent the loving and equal relationship I had; both of us working for our family;
making a home for us; a safe haven. Notice these two cards actually create a
house in the middle. Like these figures are two part of one painting, we were like two peas in pod
2 What’s before me (taken from the top of the deck) stars + house
Following my destiny, seeking guidance on how to rebuild
my home again on all levels: spiritual emotional and physical, having a clear perception
on how make the new foundation strong and reliable and maybe wish upon that star
Wow, this so accurately describes your situation with your husband. The security of "home" and how to accomplish this has now fallen on your shoulders. And the only way to do it successfully is to let go of "what was" and work with "what is." I've got full confidence in you! :)
ReplyDeleteThis spread is similar to the one I use for the new year:
1. What do I leave behind in the new year?
2. What do I bring forward in the new year? (Work still to be done)
3. What will be the gift of the new year?
I did have that "wow" feeling too Your vote of confidence means a lot to me although It is my own responsibility now I do appreciate the encouragement of friends
DeleteI will try your spread this evening!
What a lovely set of cards for this spread! I really enjoyed this too - I did it with Tarot. It is quite powerful, and I enjoy these shorter spreads that pack a nice, clear, "punch." :)
ReplyDeleteMe too, often the more cards I pull the more clouded the message gets.
DeleteWow, enjoyed this spread and your clear interpretation. Love that you used the Lenormand and it spoke so clearly. You can do this! Good luck in the new year.
ReplyDeleteThank Cher! I Know I can. I am getting better at it each year :)
DeleteBest wishes for you for 2016 also
Thanks for share,I will give it a go. :)

You're welcome. And thank you for visiting my blog Fatima. :)
DeleteWhat a great spread, I'm useless with Lenormand, but that deck looks beautiful, and what straightforward answers. When faced with clear answers, it's amazing how it helps us become more determined to overcome obstacles.
ReplyDeleteYour are right on all account Debbie. Sometimes I am amazed by the bluntness of the lenormand cards. But Tarot can be quite literal too :)
DeleteHi Ellen, WOW is right! Enjoy this time for you. The Hermit comes to mind. Which is my favourite card, it is about introspect and not about loneliness. Sending healing and light my friend. You are a strong and courages woman, this is just a hiccup! Take a drink from the other side of the glass! XO
ReplyDeleteHi Diane, thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comment. The Hermit is my favorite card too so I will embrace it energy this week.
DeleteHugs!
A lovely reading of these cards, Ellen! Very poignant to have the Man and Woman together in that way. And interesting that they have a house between them, and the House card came up in the second position. You have the spiritual strength and clarity to create that security for yourself and by yourself now... And how beautiful that the last pair echo one of your words for the year - you are on the right path :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Cxxx
Thanks Chloe! It has been quite some time since I did a Lenormand spread, so I felt a bit rusty. Your comment is very reaffirming for me. And yes I feel so much more capable to build a life for myself now, with enough room for all my loved ones.
DeleteThe support of this community has done wonders for me :)
