Today’s
card is the Three of Cups from the Druidcraft Tarot. A happy cheerful card, well suited
for the Holiday season. Although in this deck the characters are male instead of female, I always
identify it with my daughters and myself and of course for now also with my SIL.
When
I asked for advice on how to create such a loving and joyful atmosphere in my
house, I got The Wheel: In this depiction we see a woman literally carving out
space and time for herself. She is casting a circle with herself in the center
of it. From there she can observe and respond mindfully to any given situation at
hand without becoming overwhelmed by it.
Finally I asked what the result would be if I would follow the advice of the Wheel? And then The Star jumped out of my deck. Hope
an renewal, Cleansing and healing and wishes come true. When I trust enough that
all will be well and I will be able let go of my Holiday anxiety, then I will find
that inner peace and quiet: a well brimful of inspiration and loving guidance
Isn't this a beautiful deck? One of my favorites
ReplyDeleteMine too!!!
DeleteLove that the "how to" is literally a woman making a bit of sacred space to enclose herself in. And being on a beach, the tide will come and erase it eventually, but for a time, she'll have that bubble.
ReplyDeleteI was quite surprised when this card came up. I love it when the cards tell me exactly what to do.
DeleteYes each time she will have to create her space again; built it with self love and lots of care :)
I love how the images gave such clear messages. Sometimes you don't need to dig deep in order to find the answers, they are right on the surface.
ReplyDeleteI like that too. Digging deep if for when the Holidays are over :D
DeleteIt can feel so hard to carve out time for yourself when there's so much going on and when you want to do so much for others. Still, without that space for yourself, you will not be able to give as much with a generous heart, because of feeling constricted in yourself. At least, that's how I always find it: I love my boys a lot more after I've had a few hours away from them :D
ReplyDeleteHa ha That sounds familiar! When my girls were much younger I loved them the most when they just had woken up and when they were in their Pj's ready to got to bed :D
DeleteThis is a lovely reading. The fact that the woman in The Wheel is drawing that circle also makes me think of your art and how nurturing it is for you.
ReplyDeleteYes it truly is. That's why I have my artjournal in my Spiritual First Aid Box. It has been a few days since I made art and I feel the need increasing pick up my supplies :)
