For this
New Moon reading I've used the Angel dreams
Oracle by Doreen Virtue. Although I've bought this deck about a year ago, I've never worked with it. Yesterday evening I
was sitting in my room looking at my decks, wondering which on I would chose for
my New Moon reading and this deck seemed to call : “Pick me Pick me!” Who am I not to react to such an explicit
desire. So I picked it up, gave the deck
thorough shuffle and drew two cards:
Release: Nettle – Boundaries, Caution
This cards
urges me to let go of too rigid boundaries. They will prevent me from being
flexible and adaptable. People who want
to come closer might get hurt by irritated remarks or cranky moods. The Nettle grows
everywhere and excludes other plants from its colonies. And this is something I
don’t want. Although I need being alone as much as I need to breath, I do have
to be careful not to isolate myself and shut everyone out like the little Nettle
fairy in the background.
Embrace: Lucid dreams – Awareness , Opportunities
This is a
bright and optimistic card to pull for the Embrace position. With her arms open
wide, she is ready to receive. She knows she can create her own path by following
her intuition and making the right choices along the way. She is open to the possibilities,
presented to her. During a lucid dream you are able to change and/or create
situations in and the surroundings of you dreamscape.
Some philosophies
state this earthly life is but a dream. If
it this is true I sure wish to be able
to dream lucid.
(After the reading
I suddenly made the connection between the starry borders and The Star as my guide for my 40 Day Challenge start and I smiled...)
