Once I spent the whole year making crocheted. I certainly appreciated having accomplished making several beautiful ones for my tables. I think at some point I thought I was turning into my grandmother! I can totally lose myself in art (crochet and jewellery making) but eating can pass in an (unhealthy) blur. An oracle card I drew today was 'Slow and Steady' so I'm still trying to keep this card in mind :-)Margo Bensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06759845391358543223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-49160725045646747792014-08-20T17:25:26.903+02:002014-08-20T17:25:26.903+02:00Thanks Steve!

I seem to have forgotten so many bits and bobs and keep making silly mistakes. I keep wanting to be doing anything but my orders but I know I have to forge on. Just looking at the fabric that I have just sewn together, I noticed how beautiful and calming the apple greens were, which makes sense of your quote for me, regarding accomplishment and being mindful.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-36523229995352157812014-08-20T13:21:57.687+02:002014-08-20T13:21:57.687+02:00Hi Halcyon Welcome to my blog!

I also find that, when I'm experiencing too much mental chatter, doing something which isn't too intellectually engaging has a very quieting effect - as long as it is performed in a mindful way!Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17530748504622747893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-47838441776270592172014-08-20T11:38:03.194+02:002014-08-20T11:38:03.194+02:00I have to be aware of my inner chit chat too, all ...I have to be aware of my inner chit chat too, all the time.
