I just discovered your wonderful blog and I hope you are still planning on journaling publicly about the cards. I had never seen this spread for shadow work before so I thought I would try it. (And of course the cat appeared out of nowhere to sleep right next to the spread with her tail twitching!) The cards that appeared surprised me but the biggest surprise of all is that my Shadow is the Sun! How about that for The Tarot's sense of humor? I was curious how you would interpret the following: 1) 3 Pentacles, 2) 8 Cups, and 3) King of Wands? The first card made sense enough, but 2 and 3 kind of threw me into a stall. The 4 of Swords in the Deviant Moon is probably one of my favorite versions of this card across all decks. There is something about the calm, soothing qualities of being embraced by the earth that feel quite visceral in a really nice way :)Olivia Petershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13787218597949074958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-48573622334425771482015-10-14T10:45:00.083+02:002015-10-14T10:45:00.083+02:00Thank you my dear friend and also for you heartfe...Thank you my dear friend and also for you heartfelt encouragement and support. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” thesycamoretreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15182019323050600440noreply@blogger.com
