I don't think sometimes and right away say yes, but certainly don't do this like I did in the past. People pleasing was the way I reacted and responded years ago. Age helps with wisdom. Now, if I lived with some one I'd probably have to make that extra conscious effort to no be this way.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08478520659409723872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-46857440294813603202015-05-10T13:35:07.898+02:002015-05-10T13:35:07.898+02:00I experience this almost daily When ever I go on a...I experience this almost daily When ever I go on autopilot I seem to be reacting as always instead of responding how I would want toEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02617686222764658629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-11202618547323932872015-05-09T21:21:59.664+02:002015-05-09T21:21:59.664+02:00As women we are brought up to be selfless, and tha...As women we are brought up to be selfless, and that's fine but when you have no more left for yourself, then you and those you care for are in trouble. It's okay to take care of the basics, it doesn't make you less spiritual.
Makes me think about being a mother - we have to take care of our children's real needs before we can have time for other things :)Inner Whispershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04577110987784585986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-60420509778520501022015-05-08T20:35:41.801+02:002015-05-08T20:35:41.801+02:00Living in the present moment is the answer to many...Living in the present moment is the answer to many question I guess
I have waited along time before I made the decision I wanted this deck. It's subtitle is "synergy and sweetness" and it's about pausing in our concerns about the future so that we can focus on our present - live in the "now," notice our environment, look for and enjoy the subtle sweetness of the everyday. It's like getting back to what's really important, which sounds similar to you talking about the importance of learning how to ask questions, rather than figuring out the answer. I love that. Plus, this World card is lovely, and reminds me that I still don't have this deck ;-)Olivia Petershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13787218597949074958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-1348638033414403352015-05-08T17:53:16.953+02:002015-05-08T17:53:16.953+02:00I was thinking about Maslov too when I wrote this....I was thinking about Maslov too when I wrote this. Much happiness can be found in poverty, but if we don't have our basic needs met like shelter, food and safety, it's pretty darn difficult. I agree with Abraham Maslow's "hierarchy of needs".

On the other hand we can't find happiness in things.
