Meditation can bring you in the now and stop the wanting and desiring for more stuff.
I hope this practice can bring you back to your writing too. :)
HugsEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02617686222764658629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-83123229543069756372014-07-12T11:58:28.670+02:002014-07-12T11:58:28.670+02:00(((HUGS))) go out to you all! Well, I felt better after hitting buy, and then got to be excited when they arrived at my home. This can be a dangerous cycle though. I think next time I better go with meditation. :) Best wishes to all.Cher Greenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558847290318571936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-21146676271563960642014-07-11T16:22:04.917+02:002014-07-11T16:22:04.917+02:00Hi Kerry

I am glad this post resonated with you and I could be of help. As others have said, that's a wonderful, practical list of ways to combat this spiritual malaise :)Neopagan Priestesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15389878173900385163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-26050023683387188842014-07-11T14:17:02.728+02:002014-07-11T14:17:02.728+02:00I think these are things many of us struggle with....I think these are things many of us struggle with. I know that I have in the past - especially the buying splurge, even though you could replace that with cigarettes or alcohol or big nights out when the chips are down.

Maybe find a way to use what you have differently. I always loved your picture of Strength from the Hidden Realms. Maybe create an artistic review, where you use a particular deck to inspire art - make something based around it or inspired by it.

Glad I can finally post here. Was having trouble this morning. Had a bit of an emotional few hours yesterday and immediately went on-line to find some decks to buy. Almost did. But was able to stop myself before hitting the "buy now". I went and meditated instead. Like you, I already had more than enough decks to explore ... for now. Have a lovely day, Ellen xxxoooCarolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16487872520377988070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158245992923239671.post-22078025549816863422014-07-11T12:31:31.751+02:002014-07-11T12:31:31.751+02:00I can SO relate to this post. (Victorian Fairy and Hidden Realms) I do think it is a spiritual medicine I need for my problem, not a physical one, so I am glad you posted your list of practical ways to deal with the emotional hole (I especially like the last one). Hugs to you my friend!thesycamoretreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15182019323050600440noreply@blogger.com
